To enable digital transformation future way of working need to switch to data centric ie covering whole product life cycle not only BoM and CAD/DMU data has to be taken into account, but also MBSE, M&S, Manfuacturing and Service. As main part of A/C development is done with partners we need to establish a very efficient cooperation and reduce redundant copies by establishing data linking and federation across company borders.

This can be only reached by using open standard allowing the partners to use thier toolset and methodology! In addition aspects as export control and IP protection have to be taken into consideration.

During my talk I will explain the challenges and how to takle them to enable a seemless and efficient Digital Engineering.
