Jean-Pierre Souzy is Vice-President Engineering Process Methods and Tools at Airbus in Toulouse (France).
He successfully promoted a data-centric approach in Engineering , articulated around the value coming from a secured and reliable set of the technical data. The Engineering Data Officer belongs to his department. jean-Pierre contributed to the strategic program Digital Design Manufacturing and Services (DDMS), aiming at enforcing the digital thread between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Services.
Prior to this assignment, Jean-Pierre worked on the harmonization of financial processes and systems across the 5 division of EADS. Jean-Pierre is engaged in Interoperability Standards. He chairs the Strategic Standardization Group of the Aerospace Security and Defense Industries Association in Europe (ASD). He is the Chairman of the Board of AFNeT (the French association for the digital transformation across industrial sectors) and a Member of the Board of PDES Inc.
Jean-Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom-Paris. He is married with 3 children.
