We live in a world that requires Global Data Interoperability and integrated autonomous systems. Whether we are designing and integrating autonomous vehicles or the autonomous factories that build them, the value of Global Data Interoperability has never been greater.  Challenges remain as we strive to have these systems seamlessly integrate – working,  producing, and integrating past and future products and services at scale.  Join in the conversation by sharing groundbreaking ideas and experiencing emerging technologies first hand that are destined to enable the next generation of interoperability in autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, IoT, and machine learning.

“Value-Driven Autonomous Systems through Data Interoperability”

September 17 – 20, 2018

As a previous participant of GPDIS (Global Product Data Interoperability Summit), the Executive Council is excited to give you advance notice of our upcoming 2018 event so you can mark your calendar, register, and consider submitting abstracts for discussion.  This yearly event exposes opportunities that are unique to any other conference in America today!

The GPDIS Organization, represented by The Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Parker Aerospace, and Elysium Inc., is committed to supporting this rapidly growing technical and business summit.  For many years, GPDIS has been a communications hub for industry principals to foster knowledge through the exchange of ideas, methods, and solutions. It has built consensus for tool and process standards across the industry.

This year, the theme focuses on Value-Driven Autonomous Systems through Data Interoperability. Join in the conversation by sharing groundbreaking ideas and experiencing emerging technologies first hand that are destined to enable the next generation of interoperability in autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, internet of things (IoT), and machine learning.

There will be two open workshops for attendees this year and as a change to the 2017 agenda, they will now be Wednesday morning, concluding the open sessions.  MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) will hold a workshop that emphasizes how solution providers and standards organizations are addressing the needs for MBSE interoperability, data extraction, and data linking across different model types. Emergent Technologies (ET) will be holding the other workshop and emphasize extending Industry 4.0 concepts to facilitate the Digital Reinvention of the aviation industry.  Both workshop abstracts will be placed on the GPDIS website for more information.

In addition to the workshops, there will be extended vendor exhibition time as well as the continuation of promoting white papers for publishing on the GPDIS website. More details to be provided.

By March 16, we will formalize the call for papers, provide a link to Summit registration and discount hotel reservations at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort.  We have held our Summit there in the past and they’ve made many renovations to their resort since, including conference space and their suites. We’re excited to be returning.

Come join the GPDIS team to help foster those ideas, solutions, and methods, to enable industry wide consensus through tool and process standards.  We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
