Director of Model Based Enterprise & Digital Transformation – The Boeing Company
Brian Chiesi is the Director of Model Based Enterprise & Digital Transformation for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Brian is responsible for leading BCA and Enterprise level teams in the development and integration of the future digital capabilities across the product lifecycle. He is also responsible for the enterprise business architecture and technical integration teams in support of the digital transformation initiatives
Prior to accepting his current position, Brian was Senior Manager for the Development Program Excellence Initiative, responsible for improving development program success including the authoring and release of the Enterprise Gated Process.
In his 39 years with the company Brian has had a wide variety of experiences in The Boeing Company.
Brian was a Senior Manager at Satellite systems responsible for developing and deploying common tools and processes throughout S&IS Engineering and leading various Defense Systems and Boeing Enterprise initiatives.
Brian supported the Rotorcraft Division in Ridley Park, PA in a variety of capacities: Functional Manager for Airframe Design and Integration, Sr. Manager for Rotorcraft Engineering Support Services, Chief Engineer for Bell-Boeing 609, Assembly and Integration Team Sr. Manager on V-22 and CH-47G, and Product Team Manager for BCA Support. During this time, he helped develop and deploy concurrent product definition tools and processes within 777, V-22 and Chinook programs.
Brian originally joined Boeing in 1980 as a Structural Design Engineer. He worked on the 767, 737-300 programs then as Composite Designer in Advanced Systems including the B2 program.
Brian attended West Virginia University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Brian has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 36 years and currently lives in Bothell, WA.
