The Boeing Company - Senior Technical Fellow for Manufacturing Systems and Simulation within Materials, Processes and Physics
Dr. Carla Reynolds is a Senior Technical Fellow for Manufacturing Systems and Simulation within the Materials, Processes and Physics Function at Boeing. In this role she partners with Business Unit, Function Chief Engineer, and IT Leaders to refresh the M&P Digital Engineering strategy and ensure capability roadmaps are aligned to deliver value to engineers, programs, and customers. She is responsible for M&P Manufacturing Systems and Simulations Tech Boards and partners to establish, monitor, and continuously improve Digital, Modeling, and Simulations capabilities for Materials and Manufacturing.
Previously, Carla was a Technical Fellow within Boeing Research and Technology leading the development of Digital Manufacturing, Analysis, and Simulation tools with a focus on enabling high-rate production systems. She has a deep expertise at the intersections of software development, data analytics, manufacturing, and materials science. She has been recognized by the St. Louis chapter of the Academy of Science, and by the National Academy of Engineering for her innovation and contributions to her field.
Prior to starting at Boeing, Carla received her PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and Bachelors in Chemistry from Centre College.
